I got one at walmart for $40 that has a power boost. I don't think it really matters what antenna you have, the spot you are at either has a signal or doesn't (no signal where I'm currently at)

Not really certain what kind of antenna you're asking about for "cable".

Do you mean for internet wifi connection?

Or a cell phone booster antenna?

Or TV antenna?
