It might be helpful to state what type of boat that you have experience buying/selling with your recommended broker.

The broker that specializes in Catalina's might not be the go to broker for an expensive catamaran or Motor Yacht for example.

Dave van den Arend at Crusader Yachts in Annapolis. He worked hard to sell my '82 Tanton 44 with two different buyers and all the requisite BS from them. 10% of $76K ain't much when he splits it with the brokerage. So I strongly recommend him especially for quality cruising boats.
