Project Blogs

I love reading blogs of people preparing to cruise, outfitting, restoring, doing projects. Once they leave the dock, I tend to loose interest. Unfortunately most of the blogs I really used to enjoy, the people have transitioned to cruising.

So what are some good blogs of people outfitting, restoring, doing projects, etc.? I need some good suggestions to flush out my RSS feed.

Re: Project Blogs

Here is one that I have been reading on and off for a couple years. he goes into pretty good detail as to the how's and why's he is doing. Still not out there, but a total refit, restoration of an Alberg 35.

Here is another, the boat was completed and sold, but a great story and resource...

This blog (Ugly Duckling) is an excellent example because the work is clearly defined, clearly described, and clearly illustrated with MANY good photos showing the progress and steps taken. The photos showing even small details (step by step) were helpful.

I think it is one of the best examples I have seen. Well written text too.

And, there were so MANY projects done on that boat. Impressive work!
