New Corkcore material

Hi to all !!!

I am a new (Portuguese) guy on the Forum,

I want to tell that we have developed a new core material based in Cork (a natural and renewable material).

The new Corkcore sheets are made by Amorim, named NL-10, with sizes from 500x1000mm, and thicknesses from 1,0mm till 200,0mm and are being used in hand/spray lay-up and RTM techniques.

The main advantages are the flexibility, that allow to be used in difficult curved surfaces (with no gaps or cuts), keeping the same thickness all long the surface, even in difficult zones.

The cork behaviour is well know on the cork stoppers (years in contact with wine with no great change in mechanical/physical/mental aspects - Lucky material !!!).

I have always been fond of cork but so far have only used it on the floors and wall sides
please send me samples of infusion tupe cork material in 12 and 20 mm so we can se what to do with it. also let me have the weights per cubic meter please.
I like the self extingishing and sound absobing qualitys of the material.
