Hurricane Prep Suggestions

As a person who has not been through a hurricane, as a boat owner. I just wanted to pose the question to hurricane veterans. What preparations did you do, and what did you wish you would have done!!
I am currently preparing for Hanna so any suggestions would be nice

IMO, the two biggest things that get overlooked, or not given enough attention, are chafe and water leaks. The chafing power of lines through a chock can be really impressive, and not something you can deal with easily once the storm is on you. Also, a surprising number of boats get sunk by the combination of no shore power/hatch leaks water/bilge pump runs batteries down. More of a concern on older boats.
