Sailfast routing software

Does anyone have any experience with it? The one where you load your polars, grib forecast, and it calculates the fastest offshore route? Are there other routing programs?

Expedition is another routing software - used mainly by racers, I believe.

Thanks. That led me to more choices, and a year old thread on a certain anarchy website. Still nothing on Sailfast though.

A lot of these seem to be buoy racing oriented. I just need to weather-route one 1200nm West Coast passage.

Sailfast at $300 looked expensive, and Exedition at $1200 even more so.

It feels that in this day and age there should be an OpenCPN add-on.

Use ugrib to read grib files. These can be sent via email using saildocs

Here is a free one, and to get the full pack you have to pay some, but for cursing the free is more than good.

Hi, Does Bluewater weather routing use wind & tidal data? because a lot of the free weather routing software only use wind data so is only any good for the MED.

Someone also said that sailfastLLC was now free. If so how do I get round the demo requiring a serial number or getting hold of the full version please?
