ICW: Great Bridge Is Down

Sitting in front of the Great Bridge on the ICW just outside of Norfolk. It was struck by lightening yesterday and had all of its electronic fried. They did a manual opening at 8am and might try to do another at 7pm. Could be weeks before it is fixed.

With the Dismal Swap closed, there isn't much choice to wait other than go outside. If you are coming north or south, call ahead so you can wait out in a more pleasant location.
