GPS doesn't work in MaxSea but...

It does, just fine, in Cap'n, OpenCPN and feeding our chartplotter.

I assume that there is some form of bollux on my part in the settings screens on the GPS.

I've got all the basics correct, I'm sure 4800N81 and any I might not be remembering are common on the three above programs, but MS still won't recognize either the Com1 permanent GPS or the com6 puck GPS. Both other programs do, just fine.

So, is there a way to return to default settings (MS used to work fine until I had to reinstall in on an OS reboot, and then went rooting around for the GPS) in the complete set-up for the GPS port, so I can start over and just do the baud, bit, stop, parity setup?

Thanks.
