Re: Bahamas Waypoints

That would have saved me a hell of a lot of time back in January when we sailed from Miami through the Bahamas! Thanks!

The URL doesn't work, but if you look on his website you will find it here:

https://sailquest.ca/index.php?optio...=12&Itemid=149

There were a few errors - I'm trying to get in touch w/David so he can fix it at the source. If unsuccessful, I can post errata here.

These are the waypoints as published on the trusted Explorer Charts that David painstakingly transcribed into electronic format.
If you want reef ino, take a look at the Explorer Charts. They are available either hardcopy, or now electronically as a raster overlay on GEC's AquaMaps (Apple or Android).

Re: Bahamas Waypoints

I was successful in corresponding with David and he has already made the corrections in the downloadable zip file on his website. Use the file and not the CSV text in post #1.

Thanks David!

Re: Bahamas Waypoints

Here is what David's waypoints, imported as a KMZ file, look like in the iPad app from Aqua Maps which use the Explorer Charts for The Bahamas

Re: Bahamas Waypoints

Perhaps I missed something. What are the date and time listed with each waypoint?

Re: Bahamas Waypoints

I’m interested in receiving your waypoint list in the Raymarine format. I could not make the link work
