Headset communications

We started using headsets to talk between the bow and helm 10 or so years ago. Found it to be very helpful to keep the loud talking to a minimum.
We are now ready to replace the first generation headsets that we got from Cruising Solutions. Likely the technology has advanced and it’s time to keep up. What are people successfully using? Bluetooth?
Thanks in advance

Re: Headset communications

Ours are bluetooth SENA SPH10. There are several recent threads on the topic.

+1 for the Sena. 2 trouble free years. Great clarity without any wind noise.

Re: Headset communications

How about your phones with BT headset? That's what we use. No extra devices.

But we do use SENA for our motorcycle helmets.

Re: Headset communications

Just wanted to chime in that we also have the Sena SPH10 headsets. We could hear well, but after a year of occasional use, the plastic ear clip broke, rendering them unusable. Also, they attach to your head with plastic clips that hook over your ears, and I found these began to hurt after only a few minutes. They were also difficult to use with a hat that must be tied on due to wind, which was the case for us.
