There is no place in the SF Bay area with a good deal. Go with the outfit in FL that has free shipping and a good price.

Thanks, zee. This is a somewhat unplanned purchase. I had to abandon my primary rode yesterday, but with a fender tied off to it. Took a diver back with me this morning, but after spending a full tank of air on it, he decided it was unsalvageable.

The chain was getting a bit rusty--I took it off the previous boat when I sold it so it's seen 15 years of good use--but the Rocna was a made-in-Canada version, and I hate to part with it after only 7 years. It was barely starting to rust!

Is this an Angel Island anchorage incident?
