Weird gel on outboard fuel line - what is this?

A strange, amber colored gel has shown up at the hose joins (near hose clamps) of our new outboard fuel line. The fuel tank has ethanol free gas in it, purchased from a good marina only a month ago, and StarTron fuel stabilizer/cleaner added to it.

The fuel tank is in the sun sometimes (since it's not a good idea to store gasoline indoors), and the amber goo shows up after about 4-5 days. The new fuel line is this NBR fuel hose: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

What is this, and should I be concerned? Our outboard seems to be starting and running ok, but we've had issues in the past (which are still unresolved / a mystery) so I don't want to have fuel problems from this as well.

Did you assemble the fuel line?
It almost looks like some kind of glue, that maybe the fuel has dissolved?

I did assemble the line. It was a new hose and all the other fittings (bulb etc) were preexisting and haven't shown this gel issue before. I didn't see any kind of liner in the hose though.

I don't know if this is feasible or even useful, but I'd be curious to know what would happen to maybe a 1" length of that tubing if placed in a glass jar immersed in the fuel/stabilizer mix that you're using. Preferably on land where the jar doesn't move so that you can sort of watch stuff maybe getting leeched out of the tubing, if indeed this is happening at all.

Otherwise curious that you've had an issue before. Same tank? Cleaned? If not too much fuel in the tank, I might consider replacing the fuel and stabilizer with fuel from a completely different source and a different stabilizer at least for a couple tanks to see if that changed anything.
