Boat Hooks--What do you like?
1. fixed 6'
2. telescoping
3. how long
4. on-deck or in locker

I know what I like (fixed on-deck, plus long telescoping on-deck); when I need it I don't need to be digging around.

But I see so many alternatives that don't make sense to me, I'm wondering what people like and why.
