boat hook and aid in securing
boat to
dock or

Attach
mooring line to either hook and insert boat hook into fitting, pulling taut. If at a
dock with a timber rail, hook over rail and cleat line down on boat. If dock has cleat, put through center of cleat. This works great for coming along side midship and getting secure before getting off to secure remainder of lines.
Attach the mooring buoy hook the same way to a boat hook and slip the hook through the buoy ring and snap the narrow section by pulling on the
rope. To release, push boat pole into
elbow of buoy hook, keeping line taut push to release.
