My Harken MK1 Roller Furling torque tube is jammed. Any ideas?

The prefeeder fell off.

The foil is jammed in the torque tube, about 120° off from where it should be.

So our prefeeder screws fell out (we found it on the deck), and the foil seems to be jammed pretty solidly in the torque tube. I unscrewed the three screws at the lower end of the torque tube, but it wouldn't budge (at least not to moderate tugging).

Anybody have any ideas the best way to fix this? Just brute force?

Looks like you still have the sail on,I would guess you are fighting the sail weight and possibly also the tack pennant.

This Saturday a friend an I took the sail off and tried a few things. In the end it was a bit of brute force that allowed us to pull the torque collar up and off its mount, then we were able to get the foil set correctly. We had to use a tap to get the holes clear of corrosion, but the prefeeder and torque collar is back on safe and sound.

Ahhh... brute force and persistence win yet again. Well done!

I have the same problem but I lost my prefeeder and torque cap. Any ideas where I can find a replacement? I have searched the internet with not luck.
