Mousing problem

Hi, i'm in the process of getting ready my recent purchase for the new season. the yacht has been unused for 9 - 10 years and mast had been unstepped with all halyards removed ansd mousing lines installed............but........ now i am reinstalling halyards etc i have found that mousing lines are all rotten and have disintegrated. does anyone have an "easy" method of re-installing new mousing lines???? mast is still unstepped. any sugestions really appreciated. thanks all

Use an electrician's "Fish Tape".
