Asym Spinnaker Sizing
Hey guys. This is my boat. Spin halyard comes in just above forestay.

HUNTER 40.5 LEGEND sailboat on sailboatdata.com

I take it a main consideration is the forestay length compared to the luff length.

Forestay is 52.04' / 15.86m
I: 50.33' / 15.34m
J: 13.25' / 4.04m
P: 52.00' / 15.85m
E: 16.42' / 5.00m

What luff length will be optimal. I can get a cheap asym with a luff length of 14.55M, and 16.3M (47', and 53.5'). I have heard some sources state luff length should be the I length?
