Re: Anyone know of a rigger in the Sarasota Bradenton Florida area?

I use SparmanUSA ( www.sparmanusa.com ) for my rigging needs. I know he travels the state but unsure what he charges to go that far south. Always keeps his appointments, listens to what you're plans are and takes that into account in his recommendations, does the work well and on schedule.

Contact Brad Kadau of Paradise Yacht Services at 727-327-3334. He has done good work for us at reasonable cost for many years.

I think we found someone in the area but thank you. Someone else mentioned Brad a while back. We called and left messages twice. When he finally called back a week or more later we had found someone else. All is good though. Thanks again.

Be careful about hiring a yacht rigger out of St Pete.
Got gouged by a rigger out of there for” DRIVING TIME TO BRADENTON” that I never agreed to.
There are only a few there.
Cant find any in Bradenton..
Anyone know of a rigger here please forward info.⛵️

Re: Anyone know of a rigger in the Sarasota Bradenton Florida area?

The answer to this is definitely “The Yacht Rigger”.

The Yacht Rigger

He did my martingale stay and has been tremendously helpful on this forum.

I got really ripped off by a couple of different riggers. Both wasted significant time and money and didn’t do or couldn’t do the work. So I can understand your frustration. One in St Pete and one in NC. You won’t go wrong with The Yacht Rigger. He kind of saved the day for me after all the bad riggers.

I have no intention of paying riggers from St Pete “ Driving “ Time” . Their hourly rate should cover their expenses at 100 plus an hour plus profit on parts.

Re: Anyone know of a rigger in the Sarasota Bradenton Florida area?

Isn't St. Pete to Bradenton something like a 30 mi / 30-40 min drive? Doesn't seem like a big deal to pay an extra hour of "labor" for quality work (as long as agreed upon upfront).

When I worked for a small welding company we charged drive time but it was clear upfront
