Welded plastic water tank

I'm on the east coast of virgina and looking for a manufacturer of watertanks. Ronca wont fit so I need a custom tank. I have found sources online but looking for real use info.
Many thanks

This is your best source: Triple M Plastic Products Inc They've made a lot of tanks for people on the dozen or more sites on which I've posted, and I've yet to hear anything but good reports.

Re: Welded plastic water tank

Weirdly, Triple M Plastics has a .us URL rather than a .com address. So the correct URL is Triple 'M' Plastics

Thanks for the lead peghall.

Re: Welded plastic water tank

Thanks for updating the URL...It worked the last time I tried it, but I should have learned by now to check 'em all at the beginning of every year...'cuz half of 'em for my own book don't work any more!

Boat Tanks - Plastic Water and Septic Boat Tanks BoatTanks.com - Boat Tanks - Plastic Water and Septic Boat Tanks

Marine Holding Tanks | Boat Holding Tanks Plastic-Mart.com

Both of these sources claim custom capabilities. I considered it and instead found that Plastic Mart has a catalog of special non-rectangular 'standards' about 40 pages long. I have had trouble re-locating this download. You may have to call and ask for help locating the data. We were able to find a suitable odd shape to work for way less than custom. I made a cardboard model from their dimensions to make sure it could work. They will install any fittings you need anywhere you want.

Re: Welded plastic water tank

Fwiw, Boat Tanks and Plastics Mart are both retailers of Ronco Plastics tanks ...at a pretty good markup too, with a downside of pre-installed fittings. Ronco does sell direct and also installs fittings in the sizes and locations specified by the customer when they make the tank: Ronco Plastics Marine Catalog

Re: Welded plastic water tank

Yes I've made cardboard mockups and spent hours on the ronca site and havent come close yet. I dont think I've posted to dozens of sites yet. Thanks for everyone's help. But don't think I can afford a custom made rotomolded tank but hopefully a welded one. I was thinking closer would be less shipping cost. But I'm sure that shipping is little of the cost.

Re: Welded plastic water tank

A welded tank from Triple M should run about double the cost of a (not custom) rotomolded tank. Most of the price of a custom rotomolded tank is the cost of making a mold.

Btw...you DO realize that any of the Ronco tanks can be oriented in any direction, even stood on the point of a triangle as long as the tank is support...'cuz there is no top or bottom of any tank until the fittings go in, and you decide where they go.

Re: Welded plastic water tank

I second TripleM for a source. I have two tanks made by them - spot on to my dimensions.

Re: Welded plastic water tank

Also, investigate Dura-Weld.com. I had excellent results from them this past year. Custom 50 gal H2O with two fill connections, one goes-out and one vent all located in the proper location.
