TankWatch4 Trouble-Shooting

hi

have a tankwatch4 level monitor on my waste holding tank.

the green light (empty) stays on no matter what the fill level, the amber and yellow (1/4 to 3/4 fill) don't light at all and the red (full) seems to work as it should.

the wiring appear fine.

is there likely any other cause for this than stuck reed switch floats??

(mailed the manufacturer for advice but needless to say have heard nothing)

regards,

tankwatch4

seems like i spoke too soon. rec'd a reply from "dometic". the story is:

"Stuck floats are the most likely root cause. Your Yellow LED will never light if the green LED does not go off.

Remove and clean the floats. You may wish to manually operate the floats once they are out of the tank to confirm that they operate properly."
