Recommended way to plumb fresh water drain?

Hi,

Looking for advice on best practice and recommended parts please.

My sailboat has 1/2" hose for the pressure and non pressure fresh water. I put in a new Jabsco fresh water pump and a accumulator tank.

Currently my Raritan hot water tank is out of the boat, intend to install this next season.

My questions:
Should I install some shut off valves to help with draining for system winterizing? Where would be a good place in the system to install them? What shut off valve product should I use for 1/2" flexible hose?

What about the drain valve, to drain the water for winter layup?

What would you guys with the experience recommend?

Thanks !!
