Freshwater Tank 'Dripping' Noise

Hi All -

One (of two) of my water tank">fresh water tank vents is making a noise that basically sounds like dripping water. I say making the noise - it's obviously echoing or carrying the noise from somewhere. My first thought was this is water condensing in the lid of the tank and then dripping back down, but why would it only happen with one tank then? I have them both open, so they should be equally full.

A WAG... Did this just start happening after you filled the tanks? Did you fill enough to overflow out the vent (a good idea actually, 'cuz that rinses out the vent line)? If so look for something in the vent line that could have prevented water in the vent from running back into the tank...so it's now dripping into the tank.

As I said...that's just a WAG...worth checking out.
