Cheap RO Watermaker in Freshwater?

I would be interested in the actual current draw. The lights seem to be 12 watts for small units, which would indicate 1 amp plus overhead.

If I were to use a 110 unit I think I would add more overhead, but 2 amps wouldn't be a worry as long as one remembered to turn the unit off after using it.

I'm wondering how long a bulb would last with this kind of usage?

If you have one of the stainless models, how do you know when the bulb burns out?
