Rinker 250 FV - Trim tab problem

My Rinker 250 FV Port side Trim tab actuator is not working.

Anyone who had any problems or replacement actuator made by Lenco on their 250 FV.

What is the part number.

thanks

Re: Rinker 250 FV - Trim tab problem

Thanks Guys,

Because the Rinker has a swimboard on its stern, the trim or actuators can't be seen to identify what is fitted, unless I have a costly lift out/in.

Have contacted Rinker and Lenco for them to check their records of which actuator was fitted, but no record is found/kept.

thanks again

Re: Rinker 250 FV - Trim tab problem

If you can lean over the swim step and measure the length and width of the trim tabs you can probably also measure the diameter and length of the hydraulic ram actuator. If you have a diver clean the bottom periodically, have him do it for you. That data would help you get a model number from the mfg. The pump and lines to the actuators are mounted on the inside of the transom and reasonably accessible. Be sure and check the fluid in the pump. My reference point is Bennett tabs, but I assume Lenco are similar in design and operation.
