My recommendation is to finance part of the boat so ypu have the funds for improvments and surproses. Most bank finance have a prefered surveyor list, will tell you what they think the boat is worth and finance and they will handle the transaction and title. Also isurance companies are a resourse. I would not trust any broker and surveyor they recommend.
