18 year old Katie Spotz became the youngest person to row solo across the Atlantic Ocean, departing from Dakar, Senegal on January 3, 2010 and landing in Guyana on March 14, 2010.

I think she might have been 22 years old. At least a few news reports are using that number.

holy moly!!

Holy moly, in either case that is quite the feat. I find it tough to row my dinghy from the from the bow of my boat to the stern.

My mistake, Katie is, indeed 22 years old (born 1987).
