OK,

We have a head count with a few from my dock included. Does everyone know where I am? The get together will be held right in front of the bows of the 2 cruise ships. Any questions, and you can P.M. me for my phone number. You'll see smoke signals from the BBQ pit.........i2f

We discussed eating between 4 & 5, so show up anytime around 2, or later. I wanted to eat early, so everybody would have time to get home. You are bringing Goldie aren't you?

Get Together in Green Cove Springs

Thanks to Imagine2Frolic for getting a bunch of sailors together yesterday. "J" did a great job burning the meat on the grill, "M" was a sweet and welcoming hostess, and lots of good food from everyone there. It was nice to put faces and voices to northeast Florida cruisers. Even got a tour of the German-built cat. We hope to see all of you when we sail south this winter.

Gord,

Just about everybody that contributed to the thread came. All the contributions of dishes were excellent. We even had a HURRICANE sweep through the party, made my wife a WEE BIT tipsy

We ate a little early, so everyone could get an early start home. It was fun to put a face with the names. OPSAILORS, Betty & Dennis took a group shot. I had intentions of bringing my camera, but left it at work.

Unfortunately everyone was well behaved, but there was still a lot of smiles going around. I would like to thank everyone for giving Mel & I a nice afternoon......BEST WISHES to all our new friends......i2f

Ahoy all,
Had quite the good time at the gathering yesterday. Good food and drink to compliment the pleasant group of people. Wish there had been more time. Looking forward to being more active on the forum. I did not bring my camera so I hope someone will post a gallery. Hope all made it home safely.

Thanks I2F

It was great fun meeting everyone! I ate waaay too much, but everything was really good. We had a nice tour of I2F's beautiful catamaran. I'm way jealous.

We definitelly should try to do this again soon.

Cheers!

i2fro I am sure you will soon be appointed as the official host and public relations specialist for the forum, I am sorry I had to delay my trip to the US for a week and I couldn't make it there.

I am sure i2fro was the one who eat the most food, drink most cocktails and have lots of fun after all he is a cartoon type poster right?

Good to hear you were able to tour on i2fro cat, I am jealous

Soft Air,

Just let us know next time your in town. Yes, I did eat way too much, but only drank one HURRICANE, and a group of Heinekins. The unfortunate things is this. When getting a table ready for the party. I stepped into a nest of red ants. My feet are so swollen today I had to wear my old workboots.......lololol

Imagine, the boat, thanks Sailorgal for the kind compliment:kissy:
