I haven't posted messages such as this on here before so I hope I am putting this in the correct spot. I guess admin will let me know if I need to edit this.

A salor was stranded and left in St. Thomas and in need of help. She does have water sailing">blue water sailing experience. If anyone is in need of crew.

All I really know right now is the skipper put her off in St Thomas telling her she is on her own leaving her with very little money.

I know that she is disabled and on a limited income so I am just trying to help her get home.

Edited to add I am sure there are two sides to this story, but I hate to see anyone stranded and I'm trying to help her get home without picking sides. And my pockets aren't deep enough to do it all by myself.

She was asked to depart from the sailboat she was on, but the reasoning are not relevant to the asking for help at this point.

Before I go on allow me to introduce myself, I'm the admin of Renegade Cruisers. I posted a request to your admin if I could post a request for help, not realizing one of the members was on both boards.

C-hag is a woman currently 'stranded on St Thomas'. (Dang, that sounds like a great movie idea).

We are trying to get together enough to fly her home to Cali. We are about 1/2 way there. ....

Damsel = Young women. I apoligize, I guess I wasn't thinking. She's not so young, she is a woman.

How about any of our members in St. Thomas, can you verify this? Not to say it is not legit but there are lots of scams out there especially using the net.

No It's C-Hag. This gal lives in San Diego, CA. I think Bella lives somewhere on the Chesapeake Bay doesn't she? I never got close enough to Bella to ask where she from.

From what I understand some else on the Rene Board has his cell number and has or is trying to get ahold of him. I'll check and see if they got in contact with him later on this evening.
