Amplified TV Antenna - Best Brand? Worth it?

I am currently hoisting a rabbit ear with a halyard to get TV signals while cruising SE USA. Lately the freezes/pixelating in the digital TV signal have been upsetting the Admiral and I am looking into one of those permanently mounted disk type antennas for around $200. Have you cruisers had good luck with them, and if so, what brand? I see Glomex, Dantronics, and Seawatch all make the 14 inch small disk antennas in this price range. Thanks!
