Highly recommend purchasing the ICW guide, you local West Marine should have it. Your question is rather broad, but despite that you will almost certainly find the answer in the waterways guide.

Stay between the bouys. Understand that red ICW bouys have a yellow triangle and green a yellow square. the reds will be on your port going north. Stay to the outside of curves and don't cut corners. Understand the tides and the effect they have on currents.
