Harken MK I Unit 1 furler ($450, southern California)

Harken MK I Unit 1 - $450

Everything is there including manual, except the prefeeder clamp (see photo). Leaving back to my boat in French Polynesia soon so it's gotta go

Any pics of the drum, tube and swivels? Upper swivel included also?

Yep upper swivel also included. I'll try and find you some photos later but if I don't have any on my computer then it'll be a couple weeks before I'm able to get them.

Re: Harken MK I Unit 1 furler ($450, southern California)

Hi, If the Harken MK1 Unit 1 furler is still for sale I'm interested.
Currently working on Midway Island for 6 more weeks. Then fly back to Arizona.
Home is Mesa, AZ for shipping.
I have a nephew how is working in San Diego for US Navy, if your close he could pick up.
So, please let me know if it is still for sale.
Thank you!
Mike

I would be interested to know the overall length on the foil sections, and if you have taken them apart and can they be easily reassemble. The set screws on some of the older foils are tough to get out. Also, do you know what headstay size the foil will accommodate? Thank you very much

I have 7 uncut 7' foils that are included with this, total stay length of 52'10". The roll pins came out fine on them, new replacement pins are included. If the sizing on this version is the same as the latest versions, then wire size is good up to 5/16"

This has been sold. To replace the missing prefeeder, I modeled the part in Autodesk Fusion 360 and printed it on my 3D printer. If anyone in the future is in need of this piece, contact me for the file or a print that can be used to cast a replacement out of reinforced epoxy.
