Good sailing clubs & marinas Mobile to Pensacola

We have a Hunter 38 and just moved from Dallas to Gulf Shores, AL on the coast. I'm looking for any recommendations for a marina with an active sailing club community. We've started to drive around the area and the shallow water is going to be a challenge with a our boat and it's 5 ft. draft and tall mast (needing about a 60 ft. bridge clearance). I'm thinking we need to look around the Pensacola area to avoid a 5-hour drive to get to blue water and was hoping to hear recommendations from the locals.
