Mexico’s south Coronado island (pirates cove)

My buddy and I decided to do an overnight stay and drop anchor at pirate cove on the east side of Mexico’s south Coronado island. If anyone is familiar. With stopping here, no one is allowed to step foot on the little island but anchoring is allowed from the info I could find. All was well (despite our lack of experience the dansforth was holding well in the sandy bottom. There is a station above the cove on the southern aspect. With a couple men in green( military?) once we were noticed one of them gestures repeatedly. Tapping the top of his head. Other then the “are you ok” of life guarding /swift water rescue we were aware of we were at a loss. If was a long night of anchor watch and a visitor in the middle of the night. ( Mexican navy? Police? Gunboat). Who aside from spotlighting us repeatedly. Never contacted us. Long story short. We left the next morning without incident only the question.... what was that hand sign. Any insight with settle a bet!! Cheers
