Well it is, I may not of explained it clear enough, I assumed (wrongly obviously) that people understood what I was saying. I thought the picture alone was explanatory enough ,obviously not.

Hi Exile, my 2kva can run my 60amp charger very comfortably, it would handle 80 amp but it's starting to scream quite abit louder with that draw, but of course unless your batteries are way down it...

Hi , I think it was a custom made, it wasn't for sale ,just on google images.

Google Hanse Honda generator and look at the images.

Hi Paul, I've been using Hondas for 10 years.
I mainly live of solar, 500watts.

I'm not talking about a downstairs install, just curious about what creative minds have done regarding Honda...

Gord, thanks , but in the real world there are thousands of Hondas on boats and of course they get filled while on the boat. Theres also thousands of outboards and gas filled Gerry cans.

I use the Cruisers forum app, the search really sucks, even that link you sent just takes me to the electrical generator section with a million threads...grrrrrrrrr.

I think the Honda generator and its equivalents are just brilliant, really hard to justify the cost of diesel built in genset when a little Honda can fill the needs of many boaters like me.
