There are systems for sending digital data via HF bands. Sailmail, digital radio Mondiale and ham radio standards have been developed. They have the noise free feature but the cost is pretty high... |

If SSB receivers were as numerous as say WiFi then it would not be so noisy. Technology exists to address the problem but not enough units are sold to justify the cost to develop and market a... |
