Thanks. That was part of it but it was mainly by comparing plumb bows to rocker style bows going out Pensacola Pass during a seabuoy race in 1997 as I stated earlier. I was on my plumb bow... |

It's very obvious. I raced in the Gulf but fished a lot in the Atlantic Ocean so with all my experience I can truthfully say a plumb bow isn't the way to go. I know I wouldn't have wanted one... |

Plumb bows are best for smooth water/racing. When it get really rough, they are not so good......which should be pretty obvious. |

Many times engineers will test with models before building a boat. So with that thought in mind, I was thinking on a certain 20 mile Sea Buoy Race back in 1999 or so, we are heading out Pensacola... |
