Re: o-charts hang opencpn

Good to hear.

Out of curiousity you might upload the old ini file that you put beside.

Re: o-charts hang opencpn

Well, then start to recover the chart files. Enable the o-charts plug-in first perhaps and let us see what happens.

Re: o-charts hang opencpn

Interesting that there is no entry for OpenGL discovery in the log.

Can you rename your actual OpenCPN configuration file in order to start with a clean - empty configuration?
Check then again...

Re: o-charts hang opencpn

No, not standard.
Your log file, please? Change the extension to something like opencpn.log.pdf to overcome size constraints for uploads.

Re: o-charts hang opencpn

Now, in Options|Display|advanced you will find an entry to toggle OpenGL on/off.
Please try with OpenGL OFF.

Re: o-charts hang opencpn

Does that only happen when selecting a chart from the chart piano?

If you just pan and zoom?

Re: o-charts hang opencpn

Another thing to try out:
put the CM93 and the o-charts set in its own chart group. Evoke only o-charts. What happens then?

Re: o-charts hang opencpn

Quilted: round edges of the rectangles at the chart bar, single mode: sharp edges.
Toggle the modes with the "q" key.

Re: o-charts hang opencpn

Can you explain this further:

When I select another o-chart, the program hangs.

What are you doing? Zooming in? Are you in single chart mode or quilted?
