I know that on a pilothouse special consideration is given to traveller placement, if it is on the coach roof. So maybe the dodger was overkill and the weakest point had to give. That would wreak...

I noticed that also but couldn't understand how the rig stayed up if the dodger and cabin top was levered off.

I also think there was an engine problem that led to other circumstances happening. Fuel is one thing that is overlooked in voyaging. I've been guilty of that a few times. It's easy to convince...

I had all those same questions. I thought either a pilot house or very well fastened hard dodger. I wondered how the rig could still be up.
