Interesting...The water I filled up with from Baja Naval (Ensenada) had an odd taste. We never became sick but our coffee tasted like crap.
Again...this is all good information that we can use to...

I agree totally and would add that because an individual starts a thread, does not inherently mean it has to go "their way". It's a great opportunity for all of us to add to the information at hand...

Cost of a mediocre watermaker, $3500. Not having to dinghy to shore seven times to fill up 150 gallons...priceless.



Then you would be buying a watermaker without all the information you need...

Ya...$2000 but then you have to generate the AC power. Can you say AC generator?...Which means an expensive diesel ACV generator or a gasoline one and now you have at least 10 gallons onboard,...
