Not exactly,aqfishing, to be a sailor you must sail, or like sailing, or something like that. If you have the money and buy a really nice boat, which does not and cannot sail, but is comfy as hell,...

I never trust a sailor who is happy sailing a boat where he has no view of the sails and who never needs to feel the wind in his face.

The new, bigger, heavier, designs, in my opinion are not really about increasing the performance. They are about increasing the luxury and comfort of the wealthy, new boat, buyers that abound now....
