We had rough weather between Michigan and Duluth but Sarah Belle handled it like a champ.

Thank you. I love her. She needs a little work, but every boat I looked at needed some work, and Sarah Belle seemed the most worthy of my efforts.

We had a spirited trip across Superior! Sunday left us no option but to burn some diesel, but Monday was fast sailing. At 5 PM it got really rough for the last 29 nautical miles with two fronts...

My new home

Yesterday I had the good fortune to assume custodianship of the beautiful Ms. Sarah Belle from Captain Bruce. Today we'll be sailing her across Lake Superior.
