Good point Jim, but it looks like the regs now state that it must have one fitted if it's over 43cm square. Would be interesting to double check the definition of "window" in the regs |

A jsd is the first thing I thought of when I read about the conditions. Running downwind in those conditions is a hell of a job |

The question is whether a "strongly built hull", strong enough to resist the kinds of forces encountered when the boat falls off a 5m wave, is compatible with having huge windows. I very much doubt... |
