Re: Honda 2000 built in.

Right? What a "my sh*t don't stink" post. Lol. No problem dumping soot and particulates into the other boats, buy trash talking anyone who makes gasoline exhaust.

Re: Honda 2000 built in.

No doubt a huge issue. Mine once belched up 1/4 cup of fuel or so.

Re: Honda 2000 built in.

Kohler is ignition protected, meaning it doesn't produce sparking conditions that could ignite explosive fuel vapors.

I forget if Kohler is a carb or fuel injection, but it's also set up to...

Re: Honda 2000 built in.

Interesting. I didn't understand the term "fall" the way you intended it. I guess the fuel doesn't fall filling a boat's main tank either then, at least not normally, since the tank isn't located...

Re: Honda 2000 built in.

I always felt like the falling fuel could generate static.

Then I wonder how millions and millions of cars are top filled with gasoline all the time without any fuel being ignited.

What do...

Re: Honda 2000 built in.

About filling tanks on the boat.

How are you supposed to fill the boat itself (inboard gasoline tanks) if you can't fill gasoline tanks on the boat?

I'm quite fearful of static discharge...

Re: Honda 2000 built in.

And a copy/paste of the main points from the federal regulations for manufacturers of boats, should you choose to follow them. It's wise to follow them.

Note: A Honda eu2000 falls under...

Re: Honda 2000 built in.

This is the way to do it.

After much experience with enclosures on RVs, I did the same on my boat.

Re: Honda 2000 built in.

Rod, no offense (I'm sure some will be taken), but you're doing your business no favors getting into arguments on here. It would be better for your business if you participated as yourself, in a way...

Re: Honda 2000 built in.

Of course!!!

A diesel heater exhaust. Here I am going to every AutoZone and Napa and they look at me like I'm crazy asking for small, flexible exhaust hose. Can't believe I didn't put...

I've been looking for small flex exhaust hose to route my exhaust in a slightly better direction to avoid some station wagon effect I get. Seems the huge car...

Re: Honda 2000 built in.

But...it's not the law because ALL laws are able to be read for free by all people obliged to abide by them.

That's the point.

It's best practices. Not law.

One more SV Jedi, which is why I have mine. HVAC. Sometimes you just need to cool off a bit. Since we don't really do much in terms of cold weather, we have some rudimentary back up electric heat as...

Re: Honda 2000 built in.

A small stray into the thread drift:. If ABYC is the law, why isn't it available to the general public to make sure they are in compliance?

I have a permanently mounted, outdoor, 5kw Honda...

Re: Honda 2000 built in.

Maybe one of those diesel heater thru hulls to get the exhaust through the transom?

These things vibrate quite a bit. You'll need flexible exhaust hose and to hang pipes off straps to keep things...
