I have now also committed a fix for the start-up problem, so that O will start even if the navobj.xml is corrupt. So hopefully both ends of the problem fixed :) !

You can move your C:\Programdata\opencpn folder to some safe location, then reinstall, then try copying settings.ini and navobj.xml from your safe location back.

If it works then something else...
