In the end, I went with my original plan. Cutting a simple bushing & cutting the head off of the through hull with a hole saw took me about 10 minutes, with no harm to anything except the through... |

It's flush, so there is nothing to grab on the outside. The through hull & the seacock are both Marelon, both with NPSM threads. I even dry fit them out of the boat. Apparently I buggered up... |

It's threaded into a seacock on the inside. Whatever is most inconvenient- lol |
