We have the E32 and we are impressed with the sailing ability. No, she's not the fastest nor does she point the highest but all in all the ride is very good and comfortable. And the storage is great...

I believe many of the early Dickerson's were built in wood. I'm pretty sure a broker I worked for once told me he had cruised in one of wood construction.

The only thing that gives me pause is the small bit about a few soft spots on the deck....definitely need to check that of course.
