Monos and cats behave very differently and in anything less than F8 conditions the cat motion is pretty relaxed (speed depending of course). With such a wide platform and distance to the edges...

UpSideUp confirmed that their system is an option on the TS5 boats but was not installed on Hallucine.

It is not known what happened so who knows whether a load cell exception and blown sheet...

The first linked article says they had two reefs in, so probably not excessive speed.
