I don't know. They said at first that they needed to raise money to pay for salvaging and removing the boat. They raised more than enough for that and then started raising money for a new boat. ...

That's not a great photo and it is hard to see what is really going on there below the water. The rest of the lower keel could be in shadow, or it might just be gone. Plus, we don't know when that...

Not everyone is rich. Some people don't even have $90. Many have much more debt than they have assets.

Attitude and preparation have a lot to do with it. But so does luck. Many of us may never know or realize just how close we were to total disaster at times.

In the end, not settling for a boat...
