Sorry, didn't exactly understand your situation w/my initial reply.

Unless someone has done this and discussed w/Pettit, it is just their best guess on what to do or how long you can leave it out...

We use Trinidad also but usually put it on, allow to fully dry, then launch. Never waited that long, so do not have any practical advice to share.

Product guide says can be applied up to 60 days...
