Wayland seems the way to go for most of the Linux distributions.

There is a new version of the RaspiOS 64. Works on the RPI5 and the RPI4.

Installed the Flatpak OpenCPN version 5.8.4.-2 and this works.

However there a problems with the left piano bar....

I don't have an enclosure for the RPI5. It is still early days, But after running the Pi5 for some time the processor becomes hot and needs a fan.

The 5 is running on RaspiOS (based on bookworm)...

i have just received the RPI5 and have not yet tried it with continues use on the boat.

Only fitted an alu heat dissipation unit.
